Bali Villa Bookings (balivillabookings.com) is operated by Island Dream Collective ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site, enquire or book Casa de Loto, Unite By The Sea or Temple of Tides, and how we use and protect it.

1. What we collect

• Booking details — your name, email address, phone number (optional), stay dates, number of guests and any discount code you enter.
• Enquiries — what you send us through the contact form, email or WhatsApp.
• Email sign-ups — your email address if you ask for our free Bali guide.
• Payments — card and bank payments are handled by our payment processor, Xendit. We never see or store your full card details.
• Website usage — pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and how you arrived at the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

2. How we use it

• To confirm and manage your booking, and to contact you before and during your stay.
• To reply to your enquiries and arrange extras you ask for, such as airport transfers or a private chef.
• To send the guide you requested and, occasionally, villa availability and direct-booking offers. Every email lets you unsubscribe, or you can simply ask us to stop.
• To understand how the site is used and measure our advertising, so we can improve both.

3. Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services we need to run bookings and the website:

• Xendit — payment processing.
• Lodgify — our booking and reservation system.
• Formspree — delivers contact-form and guide sign-up messages to our inbox.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you choose to message us there.
• Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) — website analytics and advertising measurement.
• Vercel — website hosting and security.

Villa staff receive the details they need to prepare for your stay (such as your name, dates and arrival time). We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These set cookies that help us see which pages are useful and whether our ads lead to enquiries or bookings. Google and Meta may combine this with information they already hold to show you relevant ads.

You can control this by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser settings, installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and adjusting your Meta ad preferences and Google ad settings. The site still works if you block these cookies.

5. Where your information is stored

We are based in Australia and Indonesia, and the services listed above may store information in other countries, including the United States and Singapore. We only use providers that apply appropriate security to the information they hold.

6. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as we need them for your stay and for our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Enquiries and email sign-ups are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. Australian residents may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
